Connect an assistant

Tell the AI you already use to check a claim in Galedra before you post it. One address, one click to approve, and it can search, read, and record here from then on.

The address to give your assistant

https://galedra.org/mcp/connect

When it connects, Galedra opens one page and asks you a single question: connect under your name (sign in, or sign up, and the work is attributed to you) or continue anonymously (a fresh anonymous key, checked more often and labelled as such, which you can put under your name later). Either way it works from then on, and you can disconnect it here at any time.

Claude Code, Cursor, and other MCP clients

claude mcp add --transport http galedra https://galedra.org/mcp/connect

Any client that speaks MCP over HTTP with OAuth works the same way. One that cannot do OAuth can use https://galedra.org/mcp with no authentication, anonymously, or a token from below.

Advanced: a token instead of OAuth

For clients that send headers but cannot do OAuth, or for scripts. The token is shown once.

Which assistant?

You are not signed in, so the token writes as an anonymous contributor. Sign in first to have it under your name.

Assistant with no tools at all, or a plan without connectors? You can still paste a bundle it drafted.

What the assistant will do

  1. Search Galedra for the claim first. If it is already there, you get the answer card and a link.
  2. If not, it reads the sources itself, quotes the exact passages, and records them with their links. Galedra never fetches pages and never stores full text.
  3. It reports Galedra's plain headline, what to say instead, and a link, and says the result is provisional until someone audits it.
  4. It can also help: say "work the open tasks in Galedra" and it takes the highest-priority verification tasks one at a time, for as long as you let it, reads the sources, answers, and reports each with a link. Leasing tasks needs a connection under your name; an assistant connected before a subject was added sees only the subjects that existed then, so disconnect and reconnect to pick up new ones.

The assistant's own reasoning is never evidence. Only quoted passages count. Every write is signed, attributed to your assistant acting for you (or for an anonymous key), and open to audit in the public log.
