Exact excerpt
The PTs fully recovered transpiration back to PreDr levels after 143 days within the wet-season by end of April 2024. Thus, PTs demonstrated full resilience to the El Niño extreme with no signs of lasting drought legacies in tree transpiration following the extreme drought. CTs on the other hand, persistent legacy effects were evident. CTs displayed only partial recovery within our observation period, reaching only 77.5% of PreDr levels.
