Cryo-electron microscopy at 2.52-Å resolution revealed the structure of NorA bound to a small-molecule inhibitor. IMP-2380 binds an ‘outward-open’ transporter conformation, occluding the cytosolic substrate-binding cavity and preventing antibiotic efflux.
