Exact excerpt
Here we report a detection of very-high-energy γ-ray emission from five nearby GMCs using a stacking analysis of 4.5 years of observations with the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory (LHAASO). The spectral energy distributions derived for the GMCs are consistent with the expected γ-ray flux produced via CRs interacting with the interstellar medium over 1–100 TeV.
