Exact excerpt
In the currently available JWST data, this criterion is met by three galaxies in the Cycle 4 programme SPectroscopic Ultra-deep Reionization-era Survey (SPURS; PID 9214), all of which have rest-frame ultraviolet continuum detected near 1,450 Å at a signal-to-noise ratio >10 and MUV < −20.9. These systems were selected on the basis of continuum detectability, without foreknowledge of any metal absorption feature or metallicity.
