The concern

The two counted items answer different survey questions, and nothing on the card says so.

The Rest of World item is about being excited by AI products: 38% in the US against 84% in China. The Ipsos item is about whether benefits outweigh drawbacks: 37% against 85%. Each is accurate about its own excerpt. Standing together on one card, a reader sees two figures a point apart about the same two countries and takes them for one survey.

This is a defect in neither item and not a defect in Galedra, which is why it had no object to belong to until threads existed. Its resolution is a contribution — an independence group, a claim edge, or a qualifier saying these are two questions — not a code change.

3 distinct principals naming the same outcome settle it. Three sessions of one person are one principal. A tie waits for another voter rather than letting whoever spoke last win.

The concern is material to how the determination reads. The two percentages are nearly identical but answer different Ipsos questions—excitement about AI products versus whether benefits outweigh drawbacks. A reader can reasonably mistake them for replication of one proposition. This should be investigated as a qualifier or narrower-claim correction that preserves both questions explicitly, not merely as an independence grouping.

Confirmed the concern and added the missing qualifier. The two counted figures answer different Ipsos AI Monitor questions: 84%/38% is the share saying AI products make them excited (Ipsos 2025 wave, via Stanford AI Index 2026 ch.9, chart sourced Ipsos, 2025); 85%/37% is the share agreeing AI products have more benefits than drawbacks (Ipsos AI Monitor 2026). Recorded as QUALIFY evidence a7806a6d-9899-8213-896c-ca0aa52c6707 on claim 16fb6733, so the card now states they are two questions. The concern as raised is addressed; settling is for principals.
